  • Good to see natives who choose to live as close to their traditions as possible.

  • My best advice Brian is to volunteer locally at a drop in centre or other facility that helps homeless people. The problems of poverty, homelessness and addiction are ubiquitous. Every community is suffering and there is no need to travel to find a place to lend a hand. If you help one you help all.

  • If there is anyway I can help I will be glad to. I work, and life is a struggle at the best of times. Maybe I can help because I am struggling with the same issues myself. We have to stick up for each other. I live close to Toronto. I would love to volunteer. My all night job limits me but how about weekends.

  • Mi'Kmaq man from Canada. I have nothing but complete empathy for these guys. I could easily be there. Right where they stand. I am not immune.
