My aunt's brother knew the family on there, and the husband of the wife that died is alive, but injured in the hospital. He told me that they couldn't jump for some reason because the wife had something wrong with her leg or something. I guess the daughter didn't want to leave her there. It's really sad. That night I was driving in Langley and I noticed a bunch of smoke in the distance, but AM 730 didn't know what it was at that time.

@jamied06 She had her daughter in with her, her daughter was to scared to jump so her mom stayed with her, it was her moms 50th birthday, and her daughter decided to take her on a hot air balloon ride..tragic

two unaccounted would 'va died because they didn't jump, so crashed the full way in flames...mother and daughter...think if you watch accidents about what if your friends or family were hurt...

I just saw this on News Ltd. (Sydney Daily Telegraph website). A woman jumped 15m and is in hospital with busted ankles the article said. It doesn't say until lower down in the article this happened in British Columbia, I thought it happened here in Australia. No no no, other side of the world.

sounds like the tank valve was open. Weird that in a tank change, it took long enough to build that much extra gas to come in contact with the above flame.
It would be interesting to find out the cops going csi the male and female valves (if there's anything left)
