they're pretty ran down now. they were originally for Houston Metro but they rejected the order so Port Authority bought them for cheap. Also all of them are suburban buses. the 2005 ones are city.
No, there are some old GM Classics somewhere in Cuba running with Series 50. I think Septa does not want to spend the money since the Neoplans within the next few years will be replaced by low floor New Flyer hybrids.

Pittsburgh's 99' an460's don't sound like these units. our's have a high pitched whine on acceleration. could be different transmissions.

You'll find a lot of them by Pitt too. anywhere on 5th or forbes ave during rush hour on the 61c and most likely the rush hour only 67j routes.

Although it is not against the law to record videos inside the bus, it's best to do them in the back so the driver won't see the camera.
