Earth "Days" LET'S HOPE WE DONT HAVE TO SEE THAT .... tHE eND IS NEAR WILL IT BE tHE eND OF INJUSTICE AND POLLUTION ... LETS TRY IT ... ACTUALLY WE HAVE NO CHOICES LIVE AND LET LIVE OR DIE.. WHAT WILL WE CHOOSE ?!

  • My japanese is terrible, but I thought I read the katakana characters for "ass day"..

  • Me too! was アース short for something?

  • "Earth" I guess..

  • I remember one time, I confused "Bassu Dei" (Birthday) for "Bus Day" and was terribly confused.

  • Japanese can be really tricky...

sometimes "decoding" katakana makes me laugh.. its just funny!

  • Japan is awesome, i want to go there some day.

  • soo...

    what does she say?

  • "Alimentação" e "energia" devido aos acontecimentos em uma ampla variedade de assuntos, incluindo o ambiente global, "Dia da Terra" e hoje, quinta-feira, no parque, muitas pessoas NIGIWAIMASHITA. Dia da Terra é o de incentivar as pessoas interessadas em questões ambientais chegou ao Japão em 1970 e nascido na América um ano, NPO evento foi um grupo de organizações e empresas. Entre os mais populares, o restaurante do dono insistência em material GANIKKU

  • chawan recycle.

Japan expend a lot food recipients.

    Very good idea

  • I'm sure i heared the word "americano" in there somewhere

  • Earth Day was inaugurated in 1970 at U.S.A

  • Nope, the only instance was "amerikade". Plus americano is not a word per se, the "amerika" is just america, and the "no" is a particle, which marks the genitive form of a word.

  • Actually as far as I know Americano means American. You are right about that "no" genitive particle. But..

    アメリカの(Americano) = American (people)

    アメリカ(America) = USA/America (continent/country)

    Slightly different words thought.

Your amerikade means btw. "in the USA/America". ;)

  • Hmm... If you'd say "american people" it'd be "amerikajin". Anything other american is "amerikano[insert object here]". So yeah, you're right, but for people it's "jin" :)

And yup, "amerikade" means exactly that.
