no. both are blue based purples but violet trance is much much brighter and also darker. it's also matt so it's better suited as a crease or liner colour methinks

I don't want to sound ignorant, but I really just don't understand certain things when it comes to eyeshadow. Can you or anyone else tell me what are pigments?? and also is there a creme that you are suppose to put on your eyes before applying eye shadow?? I'm still learning. lol

pigments are like loose eye shadows (loose colour powder) that u can use for like ur lips cheeks or eyes. and u can apply a base like urban decay primer potion or mac paint pot just to allow the eye shadow to last longer and not crease (and it also allows the colour to pop)..ask a mac artist...they will tell you everything u need to know.

Great colors ateyaaa! I just wanted to say that u DON't have to wait to you get a yellow Shirt to wear that color. You dont always have to match you eyes to your clothes. I would suggest if you have a nice deep orange or multi -colored green shirt. Now Im not talking crayon green! LOL! I ve found that you can look at your makeup as if you were a canvas. You can plan your eyes, according to your overall look. I think you can pull off just about any color on your eyes anyways..thnks for sharing!
