great to hear a version with solo voices.....can the rest of the mass be posted...love to hear the crucifixus......if solo voices sounds amazing and better than chorus....there is great version by the english baroque soloists done in 85 which is fantastic and well worth a listen....
@poplife123 Thank you, I've posted "Crucifixus". Please check the videos of the mass by the other YT users, too. We can find the beautiful "Confiteor" by Parrott.
Some say we will remember this recording because it was the first of its kind using just a very small choir to perform the B-minor mass. I argue that we will remember it because of the sheer unbelievable artistry Panito Iconomou (alto) is revealing here. It is as if he was carrying the entire choir. What a drama. What a perfection! A jewel of a recording. Thanks for uploading this.
The first phrase is slightly quick to my liking as at such speed the performers will find it far more difficult to wean all the emotive suspensions. The rest of the movement is brilliant apart from the second Soprano.
Efectivamente Anibaloide:Sir Andrew Parrott,es un enorme director que veo sigues y no recibe la consideración debida ni el reconocimiento justo.¡Gracias por la sugerencia del "Herr unser Herrscher".
This is it!

The best version in my opinion. This master work can only performed with a small group and not a massive 100 singers choir. I like the bases.
