Watching this video of 2 beautiful cats makes me feel relaxed, calm and at peace.

I too used to have a Bombay (Pumpkin) he was very inquisitive, didn't sit still for long and used to sleep across my shins under the quilt. I miss his heart warming cuddles of which were abundant and his amusing antics.

I had never heard of NFC's before. Thank you for sharing this video of your gorgeous cats with us.

my next door neighbour has a norweigan cross cat pure white his name is George, He is a lovely cat but for some reason will only let me (the neighbout) pick him up and give him cuddles, he's sort of made my big lavender bush and shede his new home and my neighbour don't mind so he's sort of picked his own home i guess..

My god, that white cat is BEAUTIFUL! I also love the Bombay, I have two Bombay males from the same litter that are as black as midnight...these beautiful creatures are such a blessing!

NFC females are much smaller than the males;

a big male can be like 16-18 pounds; some even more. I have a friend who has a black and white male who is around the 18-pound mark :)

Baggy the Black cat is about a year old in this video...  Biggles is a year and a half there. They are both now 5.

The Black one is an adverage sized cat similar is size to a Siamese... The White one is much larger than adverage, about the size of a Sheltie dog.

bombays are completely black, its one of their traits as a breed.

race standards can differ from country to country, also the "golden patches" refer to a little bit of brown colour which could be a dilutional factor that is recessive and is present in this breed...

well jeeze i only have a basic cat book with all the breeds. i dont go through and study the DNA and all it's recessive traits.

sorry I did sound a little bit "from the top" as I might say... It's just that I see many people believing there is only 1 race standard but there are many more :)

As long as you love the cats no matter what they look I am fine, that is unless you hold a Japanese bobcat, the heritage factor that makes the tail very short gives some medical disadvantages and should be seen as a hereditary disease.Thins you learn as a Veterinary student, :P

Nicely done video except, it should have shown more than a few seconds glimpse of that extraordinary Norwegian Forest Cat. And that tail should have been its central focus. Where can we find more of that magnificent tail?

Lovely video. I have my own Bombay, from San Francisco. When I moved to Japan, I went to a lot of trouble to get here through immigration. Worth it all. She's a lovely companion, and, as this vid shows, so lovely in movement and soul.
