I grew up listening to this album. My dad played it all the time and I loved every song on it when I was just 12 years old.I still love it! It's a classic with 2 classy guys!
I never get tired of this song. Respectfully, I have a couple of corrections on the lyrics. Rather than "fiddles and feons," the phrase is "vittles and viands" or "victuals [pronounced vittles] and viands." These are old-fashioned words for food, hence the next lines. Also, "his lair" should be "this lad." I think "easy for me" should be "he's-a for me," another pseudo-Italian turn of phrase like some others in the song, but I'm not sure.
