  • this is a sad issue

  • more people from privileged background should watch this video. young kids too so they know how lucky they are to be born in civilized nations. I am from Malaysia and when i saw this video i thank god that my country while not great could at least provide her citizen with basic health care.

  • A lot of these women are not women they are girls /children giving birth. So so SAD.

  • This is worse than sad. It seems like a subtle form of genocide to allow these women and their offspring to suffer like this. I know that poverty is a major issue, but to me, it also seems as if the governement is dragging their feet because it is a way of slowing the growth of the population. Just a thought. I am also appauled by the fact that so many men are on the boards and within the administrations that are responsible. What they have been doing has not been working. Americans are blessed.

  • I AM TRUELY BLESSED!!!!! THIS IS BEYOND SAD! MY HEART GOES OUT TO THESE MOTHERS...: :(

  • they shld get free supplies of better modern technology sent to their country...or to any 3rd world countries!they may be poor, but they are humans as well..and they to need to start their generation tree!

  • This is terrible. I would never agree to have the pain of a normal childbirth and they don`t even get c-section if they need to. And then surely they even did not want to marry that man or have children at all.

  • @Koenigskind23 omg yes ur right some of them r forced into marriage

  • because of the 'blood diamond'...people suffer the consequence

  • That's so sad...and we complain abouthealth care in America. There is no hospital in this country that would turn a woman giving birth away especially if it's an emergency. We complain too much but we are blessed in alot of ways.

  • I have an idea that may help- Universities should require that students going for MD's do some volunteer work in these countries before getting their degress and for doctors to do a certain amount of volunteer work before getting their licenses renewed.

  • sad...

  • President Koroma u are a very hard working man, u are trying your best to help the people of your country, now there is electricity, i want u to make ur next priority is to constructure roads, stantand roads that will connect cities, towns, communities. i believe with good infrastructure the prblem of health and even poverty will reduce, because then people will be mobile with their goods & services that will help them with social problem. GOD bless Salone.

  • some of the hospitals, doctors making the situation worse by demanding too much money even when it is not necessary, because they too dont have no salar, so it all comes up to the government to help greatly, frist lady mrs koroma you really have to do some. build roads so people can connect to their communities.
