Nobuo really nails the feel of Narshe. I swear. This is exactly how living in such a sleepy, damp mining city would sound like.

I think this song personifies the game entirely, as SupraDarky said, this is one of the first songs you hear when you play the game, and the mood it strikes upon you (at least, on me anyways) is that of a dark, somber place...which is absolutely perfect for the moment. This is the kind of song that gives me goosebumps after not listening to it for a while.

I always liked Final Fantasy IV more due to the fact that you cannot overpower or turn your characters into clones of each other. Being a completionist somewhat messed me up on this game. It was a spam Ultima fest. It's my second favourite in the series though...

@SMRPGFAN101 I think the characters had enough variations of moves so that Ultima wasn't really too special of a movei. Mainly the Genji + Offering.

I generally always did the Genji+Offering person, a Healer/Mage, Sabin's Blitz's, and someone with just a Genji Glove.

Final Fantasy 6 is definetly my favourite game. Also this is one of the more nostalgy creating songs in the game. I always get the fresh feeling from when I first played the game and got completely hooked to it. Final Fantasy 6 has very impressive mood setting songs.

I started this game in winter in my early teens, the setting was perfect. Then I got chills...which led to the flu. I'm still waiting for this to come out on the VC like FF4 did. Not playing it again till then.

This is one of the tracks that caused me to move beyond downloading cheap midi imitations of the songs and finally discover them in SPC format, thanks to midi not being able to properly play the custom effects (the breath sound in this instance). The factory song is what finally pushed me over the edge, heh.

You probably have to play this game to get this song's full effect. It seems pretty simple but I'll always associate this with the beginning of the game, the cold steamy city with the mines and running around with Locke. It's such a perfect intro to the rest of the epic game and it really feels like the FF series was starting to shift.

I just started playing this game yesterday, and I love it already! Its more in-depth then the earlier games, while retaining a simple charm in the battling and level up systems that are gone in the latter games.

Also, magitek suits pwn everything.
