  • Very nice, Under 10min too

  • Nice tie, Nice hand whip.

  • Really nice pattern - I'll be tying it for our Pocono trout streams with one change - no lead! Lead substitute or a tungsten bead. Lead is not good for the stream.

    Thanks!

  • i thought isonychia nymphs were purple

  • Where do you get the Jan Siman lead strips? None of the flyshops in my area have it. Also, can you use Zap-A-Gap gel instead of Locktite Gel for the tails? Thanks!

  • @RockDog101 lead tape is the same thing and its cheaper. Hell you can get it at a hardware stool. And it adheres to the hook. Check out Davie McPhail, a spectacular tier.

  • Can't wait to try this patter on the Upper Delaware in early September.

  • its a copy of my own pattern...god dam theif..nxt time i will pattened it..

  • @termite122 yeah, go eat your nuts

  • The tails are outstanding! I use moose, and end up with a nice albeit fragile tail. Your method is perfect for a fishing fly.

  • It sure is! I guess great minds think alike!

  • Nice fly! I came up with something nearly identical while tying flies for Missouri streams. It's amazing that tyers from different parts of the country can come to the same conclusions when tying to imitate certain nymphs.

  • nice fly I will ty this one and great tip with the tale.

  • sweet, ill have to try this one out this summer.

  • Nice one
