we actually run street stocks and hot rods the other way and there is a track up in queensland (in australia) that actually has one 1 hand turn in it.
sprint cars are alot harder than people think. no body can just get in one and be billy badass unless your steve kinser. this rack looks fun though kinda the same as hollywood hills or the small track at manzy .
the manzy 1/3 mile has more banking on the outside and the fast way around is on the top where the banking is. This one is flat and seems kinda narrow though it may dry up and widen out. It seems hard to pass right now because there's little room. I've never driven a sprint car though I've driven on dirt.. it's harder than it looks and takes a lot of laps to just control the car and hold your line around the track, let alone doing slide jobs and such.
i remember when Chowchilla was just the arena and the first year they ran USAC there, no bank, no walls, just the arena, just a rodeo arena with a massive mound east of the arena for the monster trucks that usually came during the fair. that was when i was about 8 years old, moved to Nebraska when i was 18, Chowchilla still didnt have a track. Awesome to see a track there now, seems like Kings has fallin off.
naw chowchilla, other direction..its quite a drive from sacramento, and it gets hot as hell there! we ran nonwings a coupel years back, they just recently closed the track down, RIP one of my favorite and fastest local tracks
