I had my jasper do this when i had a brown out (the electricity in the house flickered a bit and went dim).
but since i have my 360 on a battery backup it didn't turn off, it just showed the RRoD but was still playing.
what i figured was the power fluctuations caused the battery backup to freak out causing the 360 to freak out and show a false error.
yours could just be from a connection issue getting worse or from the power supply starting to wig out and fail.
try cleaning the contacts.

@Veggieburger802 Read the description, nub. We were playing with number 3 last night. I got disconnected from a power outage. Which still sucks.
