NIck's awesome!! He is one of the best drummers today and we have to live with that.. I mean he acts like a spastic on stage just because he feels like a drummer that's all... He should act a little bit more cool though =)

Nick is great and have nice vocal but, IMHO vocals in Spock's Beard are biggest problem. Nick doesn't have that kind of ''leading singer'' vocal like Neal, that's problem. He is better for background singing, filing the sound, that is wonderful, but when he does leading vocals, it's not so good. It is hard without Neal, but they have my support. They are good guys.

i think thats just on neal songs... but the nick era is greater in the sense that you get that frontman singer kinda stuff from nick

it kind of depends on the song actually, but more often than not his voice doesn't work as well as a lead. as an example, when i saw them play they covered walking on the moon. nick sang lead it was awesome. i have it posted on youtube actually, click my name to check find it and watch.

i think he sounds terrible singing crack the big sky, tbh. i'm not trying to be an ass or a troll or anything, i just really don't think he fits with it. the band is also missing neal's HUGE creative input now.

guys with and without neil and they are still

a very viable outfit.Their latest c.d. is awsome!!!

Exactly, Nick does act like a jackass, so did Neal but he did it in an endearing way, not an annoying way. Nick has a good voice, not even close to Neal though.

hey, look another crimson fan! haha. i gotta agree, i've been listening to these guys since "kindness" came out. i was even lucky enough to catch nick and neal do an acoustic only show while i was in vacation in germany. it was great!

anyhow, since neal left i can't really get into the music they've written. i like nick's voice, but it's more suited for backup harmony than it is as a lead singer.
