The mustang was faster and a nice car. We barely saw the gto but i suspect it wasn't nearly as modified so it's stupid to argue. Money will detemine how fast your car is. Short coming of pontiacs are too heavy rotating assemble. Ford heads are not the best as is. Either too small or too big. Chevy bad gasketing tends to leak oil. Cam can run down because of over adjusting. Use a locking nut on rocker. Everything is good and bad.
