  • what made you use the graphic/animation for YES? In ASL or any JSL (American Sign Language / Japanese Sign Language) ; found online) thats not the sign for Yes. The JSL isnt all that comprehensive as ASL but nothing I've seen has Yes beening that graphic.

  • my kid and I love your videos, but I do have to questions that motion. It should dictate a head nod up and down or use ASL/JpSL. But again I await your answer.

  • @viigraphix Hi there. Thanks for the comment! It's a good observation. We're not using or teaching ASL or JSL here. We've found the circle gesture for yes to be widely recognized as an affirmative in many different cultures, even with very young learners, so we paired that together with a head nod. But we recognize that every culture may have a more recognizable "yes" gesture and we encourage you to teach whichever makes the vocabulary clearest to your students.
