i agree... i tried to watch this movie but when the two puppets started kissing i got freaked out and switched it off... i was young back then and wouldn't mind watching the film now. But seeing those puppets kissing again kinda freaked me out... i agree... why puppet sex? WTF?

This is a gorgeous movie. I really like it a lot. The art in it is brilliant, especially the layouts and the lighting effects. And they do some incredible things that I wouldn't have thought were possible with the puppets. Great movie, but this trailer gives away pretty much the entire story.

Great movie. Actually played well with the string idea- they made an important part of the world, but didn't dominate the whole story- it allowed for a plot that would have been alright in and of itself, but that wouldn't have worked without the strings.

For some reason they decided all the subtle moral investigations and ambiguous character yielded to 'kill all the bad guys'

It was devastating. The design of the film was ingenious, the acting incredible.
