i know how to get to movie maker!!!! first,on the bottom left corner of the home page screen, it shows the colors:Red,Blue,Green, and yellow. press on it. And then, on the bottom, it says all programs. press it, and then look for:Windows Movie Maker. THATS HOW YOU GO TO WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER!!!!

Windows movie maker is a big fat piece of shit. Seriously, I am not biased against Microsoft or something but this... creation is horrible! Apart from being user-hostile (my opposite of user-friendly), it doesn't allow me to save my bloody video saying that either my save location or my collection files do not exist anymore! And they are all there still... Bloody piece of crap. Try VirtualDub if you respect yourself.

ok i know two ways, for mine i have to click finish or finish movie etc. and click save to my computer, then name it save to my vidoes click next then click more options other or last choice there and pull down the drag down menu and find save as broadband or somehting that says broad band then click next and its saving and once saved click finish. Oh BTW also close the windows movie maker, if you saved it and try to x movie maker out it might say you didnt save click no and go to your vidoes

Your instructions are great- very clear and easy to follow. But the damn Movie Maker doesn't give me an option to 'Save Movie File', just 'Save Project'. And of course that only gives me one file format to choose from- wmv or something like that. And that won,t work with youtube. :-(

in order to save it, you go to file>save movie file>my computer> (choose where to save it and the file name)> (choose the video qualities and settings)> then click next.

Once that is done, go to upload on youtube and do the descriptions and then you should be able to upload it. hope this helps!

It means you need to save your project. Go to your project, then at the side, there is, SAVE ON MY COMPTER. Click that, it will take a few mins to save.

@OxMarissa5x3 What you need to do is publish your movie to your desktop or where ever you want to save it. It will save as wmv and then you can upload it. Hoped this helped.
