the reason why most battlefield games dont work on console is that the mechanics are build for pc. played the bf3 beta a week ago. Dice is really paying more attention to console even if they say its a pc first game.

Battlefield 2 was the best and it was only on PC, so they dumbed it down for consoles. @Powkeemawnz Well, many of the servers aren't ranked, even though it says so, so those which really are, theres usually 20 player limit, so it's not this intense all the time and those battles might take over an hour. It really feels like war when you are surviving and trying to capture enemy flag, snipers are shooting from the hills, commanders are sending artillery firing, jets are bombing, tanks are coming to help, machine gunners are blasting and then it's all over. You captured the flag :P
@Powkeemawnz BC was an okay spinoff, but nothing beats good real PC Battlefield experience. 1943 is more like what you're getting, except with more purpose and not 3 maps that sadly was never expanded...

I know realism is something people look for in a game, but I kinda like the funny and non-real aspects of games. Like the early GTA series where you can crash full on into a wall and not fly out. I liked this games gameplay even tho you have a 1402" vertical and u can deploy a parachute like 2 feet of the ground and still run. I think gameplay>graphics

@Powkeemawnz Well, many of the servers aren't ranked, even though it says so, so those which really are, theres usually 20 player limit, so it's not this intense all the time and those battles might take over an hour. It really feels like war when you are surviving and trying to capture enemy flag, snipers are shooting from the hills, commanders are sending artillery firing, jets are bombing, tanks are coming to help, machine gunners are blasting and then it's all over. You captured the flag :P

I know realism is something people look for in a game, but I kinda like the funny and non-real aspects of games. Like the early GTA series where you can crash full on into a wall and not fly out. I liked this games gameplay even tho you have a 1402" vertical and u can deploy a parachute like 2 feet of the ground and still run. I think gameplay>graphics
