There is a recent case to this. This time in China. Where a man by the name of Lin Tianzhuan of the Shuimen provence. Developed "Coral like" growths on his arms and legs.

And was crudly dubbed "Coral man"

Thankfully he like Dede has recovered after a session of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy.

Just wondering what is this disese called??

And why (not wishing to sound) offensive. Does it seem to occur only in China and the Far- East.??

Lin Tianzhuan has the same condition as Dede. He had massive wart (not coral) growths because his immune system is virtually non existent. The radiotherapy treatment shrank the tumors. If Dede gets the same treatment (along with interferons) there is a very good chance Dede will have normal skin again.

As for this disease only appearing in the far-east. It may have something to do with the high numbers of relatives who marry each other in these places.

I saw a video quite a long time ago when things seemed to be at about the worst. I am very glad to see this video as it looks like things have come a long ways and he is much improved. I hope doctors will be able to continue to help him and get to something close to a "normal" life.

The poor guy lacked a certain genetic component that helps us to ward off such an attack on the cellular functions.
