Cillian Murphy is the greatest actor around today. At first you watch him because he is so unbelievably beautiful but then you realize the characters he portrays become real on screen and unforgettable. I love how he avoids the tabloids because he is a true artist in every sense of the word. So gifted.

Incredibly hot people can be shy too it doesn't mean they are stuck up! :) I think it's refreshing he doesn't like interviews and photo shoots. He is in it for the love of acting not the fame and attention. He is aloud to have off days & not give a perfect nice response to every person he meets.he is human just like everybody else and shouldn't be expected to constantly be nice just because of his line of work. Jeez.

I never judge personalities from interviews, but at least it's good that he doesn't try to 'pretent' in them. You know, force a small and be friendly- that kind of stuff.

I'm Irish, from a place near to where Cillian is from and am fiercly proud of how well he's done and how talented he is, however I have met him and found him to be a complete arsehole. I was with my mother and he was shooting for the film 'the wind that shakes the barely' in my home town. My mother said, well done congratulations on the film, and he looked at us like we were dirt and grunted a response.

Heh, I like how he mentioned he was tested the different outfits and hairstyles with Neil. Made me think of the epsiode of the british sitcom spaced where Simon Pegg's character is wearing his flatmate's dress and pink boa and striking poses in front of the mirror.

Although the message you have gave is two months old, my question is: why do you feel that you know so about Cillian it makes you obligated to criticize him? Just because he's shy and detests the spotlight, doesn't make him shallow.

Personally, the people that are shallow are the ones that are underage drinking, DUIs, and sluts that Hollywood is best known for. Maybe I don't understand your words.

Well he's very attractive as is his wife, so there must be at least a bit of shallowness to him, it is inevitable and I really wouldn't hold it against him. I also think he is less shy and more low-key and conservative.

I just finished watching "Breakfast on Pluto" Having a trans gender son that is a very physically handsom person. I was so moved and touched with the caompassion and lovely portraial of "Kitten" by Cillian and of course the writer and directer. this is one for my shelves and will share with family. thank you so much.
