OMG its been 8 months and people are still arguing over weather or not team canada and team usa handled them selfs right...None of you talking has ever been in that position im sure i am an American and i am happy for team USA winning gold this year but i also give credit to the Candians for coming back the way they did and of corse they are going to be upset at the moment right after they get off the ice...We are only another 5 months away from another World Juniors focus on that one..

Id love to hear the American reaction if you guys got 2 goals in the last 4 minutes and then lost. Eberle lifted all of Canada up on their feet in that 3rd period, and then we lost after 2 or 3 incredible chances in overtime so obviously were gonna explain ourselves to Canada first and foremost. Our crowd cheered for the US when you guys won, you dont know what your talking about. Sorry you werent celebrated enough ya bunch of pricks. "Classless when they lose" haha unbelievable

Contrast that with the USA. Blaise and Fowler practically fell all over themselves to give Canada credit. Fowler started by saying he "tips his hat" to the Canadians. Blaise waxes poetically about how Canada is the best and the USA is just trying to do what Canada does. All kinds of credit dished out to Canada. Do we get any credit? Noooo. We beat Canada on their home ice and no Canadian wants to credit our efforts. They just want to talk about themselves. Arr-o-gant.

@pqshindelus , The Canadian team didn't handle themselves in typical Canadian fashion, certainly. Usually, it's Canadian players deflecting praise, win or lose. And to their credit, the US team handled themselves well. But to a man, when this very topic came up, everyone I spoke with agreed that in both cases, the exception and not the rule was demonstrated on either side.

Listen to these arrogant Canadians, all they talked about was them, them, them. THEIR effort, THEIR heart, THEIR comback, THEIR players, etc. No one gives any credit to the USA. In fact, just the opposite- Della Rovere insinuates USA got lucky and Taylor Hall (who actually complimented the USA a little) then then says, "They beat us by one shot."

Typical Canada. Hockey is always about them. They win, they're they best. They lose, they're still the best and just had a bad night.

Why they so mad they walked away with the silver i would be like hell ya to get second place out of all the hockey countries in the world...I know because they lost there 6th straight and on home ice but they got silver i would be happy the canadains even know they played good silver is pretty darn good......Happy that team USA won the Gold though.....

I think that the Canadians only go for gold. And why should they not, they have a chance for it every single year. That's why they should be disappointed and that's why they are disappointed. Silver isn't really an achievement for them.

I'm very disappointed, I agree. But you can't blame Allen, he's just a kid. There's so much pressure on players, especially goalies, so you can't blame him. He played his heart and soul out to get us to the finals. Give him some credit

first goal he can't let in. he himself admitted he had a poor game. also turnovers led to usa opportunities and they converted on some of them from poor goaltending. both sides had poor goaltending
