Is he a ds exclusive or can he be fought on the gba version I really want to fight him. zeromus wasn't a challenge for me and i'm not going into the luner ruins just yet how do I get to him if he is in the gba version or the ds version I plan to get that version soon.

Lunar Ruins is really easy with a level 70+ party. Just make sure you equip the right items to promote growth for level 70+ or you could end up with much weaker characters. And this boss along with Gyron is a super boss exclusive to the DS version. You do get Brachioraidos in the GBA version though, and I think he's much more challenging.

Thanks but sicne then i've beaten the luner ruins and etc. I'm not at lvl 99 with really good stats. I also managed to beat that dragon it was fucking hard I was down to kain who was double jumping when it used mega flare. and the double jump killed him I was like HOLY CRAP DID I ACTUALLY BEAT HIM!?

could Proto Babel be a tribute to the summon Alexander? Just look at his most powerful attack, at 5:40: it's called Divine Judgement, like Alexander's move, and he has even the same movements!

Protobabil is the Giant!? THAT GIANT!? Althought he looks much smaller than when the heroes almost killed themselves trying to deactivating it from the inside. Smoke and Mirrors?

Actually, I think it's the Prototype of the Giant of Babil (By the name, obviously). Seems the designers of the giant needed a model for it, and designed the much smaller prototype, then moved on to the true giant. I'm assuming that the designers then sealed the prototype, due to the immense power it possesses. But that's just how I see it XD

No DS version has lot of new extras but none of the extras which GBA version had like there is no Lunar Ruins.

this is IV, not II. I'm sure there will be EG but not untill after you beat the game once or something. EG was originally there if the game was too hard for you.

what i meant, and i'm not sure why i didn't clarify this lol, was that EG was originally in IV, he wasn't added on to the GBA, there were two types of IVs easy and hard type, easy of course had EG "EZ", while hard had normal but also EG as a secret. EZ type was released later but added on to the original not to long after the initial release so a rare few first didn't have EG. *sigh* can't wait for this game! i get it a few days pre-street cause i work at game crazy.

to tell you the truth this is way harder than the advance iv.

All bosses are a lot harder. Some of them even counter your attack every time you attack. This boss he is fighting in this vid actually can do 9999 damage to all of your characters.

Anyway, I only wish I'd thought of that strategy myself, but I got it off one of the Japanese wikis.

This was one of the most unorthodox boss battles I've ever seen in an RPG; maybe even more so than the FFVII Weapons. Geryon is lame by comparison (but still a good idea). I only had one character die on Geryon, and it was right at the beginning only. Anyway, great bosses. Would have been nice to have Zeromus EG in 3D, but these bosses make more sense in terms of the plot of the game.

There's a much faster way to kill this boss with just one attacker and the other characters serving different support roles (I used Kain, and he was doing around 50,000 points of damage multiple times in a row - took about ten minutes total, I suppose, since I had to restore Kain's Darkness, Haste, and Berserk several times, plus Proto Babil used kaifuku about four times).

They really need to put Culex as the "Uber Ultimate Optional Boss of Death" in a Final Fantasy IV remake; just because he had the boss theme in SMRPG. He could attack with the crystals, too!
