Poor C.C. she is always getting hurt like when she... broke her leg, slipped on a waxed floor twice, slipped of a couch, Niles pulled her hair, Niles squirted lemon juice in her eye, got left out in the rain, hit in the head with a door, held a hot tea cup ect... but Niles had quite a few inguries himself like... having a heart atack, having C.C. step on his toes, C.C. relese his pulled back overal elastic band, C.C. blowing sugar powder in his eyes, ect... And much, much, more :)

Whitewater was basically a scandal during the Clinton administration involving the Clintons' ties to a company that had some pretty shady business dealings. There was an investigation and they were never actually charged with anything, but obviously the subject would be a sore spot with them, so you wouldn't want to bring it up at dinner.
