@syntheticskull I just tried the game boy version for the first time. I must say it's a bit easier, but for that very reason I find it more enjoyable to play (even though the pc graphics are of course better). But hey, everybody, hear this: on the gb version you can have side shot, rear shot and electro ball all simultaneously. Now that's cool!

One of the hardest games I've ever played. Until I too used an invincibility cheat to complete it on PC, the furthest I'd ever gotten on the ST version was the final section of level 3.

I played it on my old 286 too, heh. I don't remember colour though, wasn't it in black and white? I don't remember being able to reverse either, in those maps with mazes you were forced to memorize the layout since if you went up a branch which was a dead end you were screwed if you didn't have any "fly underneath" powerups left.

Hard as hell though. I do remember the last stage, but I don't recall the boss. Looks like some kinda tank, strange. I thought it was an alien mothership.

I cleared this game on my sega genesis when i was 10 years old, i only beat this game once, other times i just failed and failed.. goddamn this game was so hard i remember. But i loved the finallevels when you got like 60 cannons!!!

Wow. I knew Xenon2 Megablast on MS DOS. My dutch cousins had this game on this plattform. But the farsest we got was level three, than it became too hard. And the levels you fight through are very flexible: Alienbotanics, an alienaquaduct, a crystalworld, an gigaorganism and a space station. The alien enimies are assoulting in good formations. For the Bitmap Brothers my biggest thanks. Maybe i start soon my intercaptor again -With twinlaserbatterie, rocketlauncher and turbolaserblaster.

He played it in his Mega Drive. I played it in my old 286.

Hell, even went and got Xenon 1 for the amiga because of this game :D

Wow that just brought back sooooo many memories! I used to play that game for hours and hours and hours!!! I think I had some dodgy copy though, because the final boss would never die! I did notice some graphics glitches as well, so I think I had a corrupt version of the game. *Sigh* It was really nice to see that again!! And the music ROCKED!!

I remember spending summer with my friend playing on the PC version. This is one is a cracked version as you can see the guy never loose life other wise FORGET about winning it with the 3 lives they gave you. We needed to crack our copy but we lost the only thing was that we incremented the number of lifes to 256, ...

Actually, this isn't a cracked version, but I used the invincibility cheat code (which i mentioned using in the notes) that was built in according to various cheat code sites.
