  • I can do that with my horse lol. Like when hes laying down or standing up. He puts up with me pretty well lol.Great job training your horse. you guys must have a very strong bond :) Maybe some day i can slow my horse down enough to try trick riding....

  • its funny i have all these dificult tricks and stunt i've done , working my tail off to performe and this simple lay down gets all the attention.

it does require lots of work and trust though, but so does trick riding.

anyway i hope everone enjoys all our videos.

  • What the Texas Trick Riders do with their horses is simply amazing! Incredible horsemanship! It takes a lot of work and a total ultimate partnership with these horses!

  • um...hello the horse is a trick horse and is used to that kind of work, any other horse it would be mean ,but it is part of the show. And besides that horse probably gets everything a horse could dream of so yeah....be nice ..

  • Thank You. yes he is a trick horse and you are right about everything.

bailyfly seems to have askewed vision of the real world.

  • your a brat. i'm not a prick, i have raise my horse from babys and cared for many of them, lived with them trained them and i have see them grow old and die.

you are rude to think and accuse me of being anything but a horseman.

  • nice and the part where u stand on the horse is ok because wen he was first trained that was probably a hard thing 2 teach hi because his instincts kick n and he thinks hes gonna die but if he was trained not 2 b scared of that then it would not frigten him and it doesnt bother him at all now or he would have jumped up and ran

  • right you are. he isn't affraid. he really a smart horse.

he also rear's and will jump over a fire jump. among several other unusual things.

    Thats entertainment ...

  • I dont like how he steps on the poor horse, but yea good job

  • Im sorry...

Butt he part witht he stadning

    on the horse is rude.

It puts the horse in a state

    where his instincts kick in

and he thinks he's going to die.

Wether you think so or not,

when you put yourself in such

    a dominant position,

    it hurts the relationship...

  • the truth is i have a very good relationship with my horses.

he trusts me as i have trusted him with my life , i use to trick ride on him as did several girls that have trained with me.

trick riding you put your life in your horses hands ! and i wont do that on a horses i cant trust.

i give my horses the best care i can and best quality of life i can. that horse is a one in a million, there is only a small hand full of people i love more than him.

  • Either way...

I have an amazing relationship with my horse also,

she also trusts me with everything...

    But STANDING ON A HORSE!!!???

    I'm sorry,

    thats the dumbest thing ever.

    Not to mention dangerous.

  • ok so what is it you do with your horse ?.... bet you don't put your life in your horses hands !!!!!!!

i also stand up on him while he's standing, and all so when he's standing on a 24'' X 24'' pedistal. thats add about 2 foot more highth to him.

anyway i usuall don't judge people untell i know them.......... i'd like to see you try , and i say try- to do what i do with my horses.

  • Actually,

    i do cross country.

So yeah, i do trust my life

to my horse, and she trusts me

with hers. And if you go and say cross country isnt dangerous, well..

    Theres something wrong then. lmao

  • your sitting in the saddle with hands on the reins :). i also jump horses too.......

and one of my best friends is FEI grand pre.

and i also have a friend who is twice the AQHA world champion jumping,. mostly i am standing on top of two horses > LOL (the irony) when i go over a jump > roman riding.

    anyway..............

  • Risking your lfie on a horse is riskign your life on a horse no matter what. Know what... hands ont he reins dont always mean much. So, i'm sorry. But i'm gonna end this because you are comming off as a slight... Prick. No offence or anything. Becuas eyou know what, either way.. Standing on your horse is RUDE... and risking your lfie is risking your life no matter what. Anyone who is around horses will or have risked their life and will many times again.

  • to baileyflys:

why is standing on your horse rude ?! you are also sitting on your horse so...

I think this is just awesome, the horse wouldn't do it if he didn't like it

  • that is amazing

  • yes he is trained to do that.

he has been all over the U.S. and Canada. we perform at rodeos, state fairs and wild west shows.

he has also been a stunt /cast horse in tv commercials and a few films.

quality and integrity are our goal at all of our shows. texastrickrider dot com

  • haha play dead although im not really liking how he steps on top of him but thats otay im sure that hes trained 4 it
