The Tau and the Warp Part 1...While the Tau have no "psykers" they do have the Ethereal Caste and the capability of having stable FTL technology. The Ethereals have psionic ability but unlike the Imperial navigators or the psykers they do not use it in the same way as other races due to their alien ideology and alien physiology.

@TheFingerbuns Thats because the Tau have no psykers at all and cannot sence the warp and the warp doesnt sence them either. So they can only travel a fifth of the speed in space compared to the other races.

@xtaxXxen A blessing in a way, I'd think. Never know what might happen in regards to psykers with their small human population or some other absorbed alien race. Or interaction with the Eldar. Perhaps they'll figure out a way to travel just as fast as warp-sensitive races with technology alone.

@unnamednewbie13 or if they bring Human Psyker Auxiliaries or Kroot Shaman with them (note that the Kroot are perfectly capable of warp travel at full speed because some of them are Shaman/Psychics)

@ND999taufan With enough study given to the Warp, I wonder if the Tau could develop technologies to shield allied races' psykers from at least some of its malignant effects? At about that point, even the Eldar may become involved.
