  • the film is boaring and funny in places

    YOU MISSED

"ALL YOU OF EARTH ARE IDIOTS"

  • "He's dead, murdered... AND SOMEBODY'S RESPONSIBLE!"

    ... Brilliant deduction, Sherlock.

  • Interesting...the voicing itself is not that bad actually. It's the script - what they say and do. And extra kudos to the actors for trying to make those lines believable.

  • headstrong young men - they shoot computer equipment at random.

  • Poor guy died broke and an alcoholic, never to see that his name is known and his movies are shown. Some have reached cult status whatever the reason. Some of the dialogue he wrote is so bad that it is actually good when it becomes whimsical or ironic, and of course hysterically funny.

  • "Your stupid minds!!! Stupid!!! Stupid!!!!"

  • Sun.... particles....?

  • All hail Plan 9 From Outer Space, king of the shitty B-movies!

  • Think about the future.

  • Oh come on, this is trash? we make much worse stuff now, this is brilliant by 2011 standards!

  • @ItalianoConfuso No actually we don't

  • @TheRedNurseSH Oh yes we do, especially in my country

  • Better than the 7 samurai

  • still better than twilight

  • Greetings My Friend

  • "The earth people who can think are so frightened by those who cannot, the dead"....wow...the implications of that line are so profound, especially if you have researched "organic portals".

  • Ed Wood came up with some very bad movies,, but this one is at the top of the garbage heap, So Bad it is actually funny.

  • God help ussssss, in the future.

  • One of the greatest comedies ever made!

  • @orkavorn Plus, it seems unfair to refer to this film as the worst ever made: at least it's entertaining in it's ridiculousness. I've seen other films which have been HORRENDOUSLY dull.

  • @orkavorn Seriously, this is brilliant in its badness. I love Ed Wood.

  • I think I just had a stroke trying to understand that gasoline thing...

  • Did anyone ever watch the full movie and happen to notice the flying saucer is a pie plate ?

  • "for the rest of our liheeves!" hes says it strange

  • Holy hell I can actually feel brain cells die.

  • Was Ed Wood really trolling us all???

  • Weirdies.

  • And remember, my friends....future events, such as these...will affect you, in the future....

  • Holy Christ this is FUNNIER than any comedy film I have ever seen!

  • dont explode the universe plz

  • Explode the sunlight here gentlemen, you explode the universe!

  • @googboog This part had me lol ing hard...

  • " those who can think are actually afraid of those who can not, the dead"

I for one think that is actually quite a good line.

  • 0:44 Did he died?

  • So bad it's good.

  • Dunno...when he did that whole 'STOOPID' thing, i got reminded of Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory.

  • "You see? You see? Your stupid minds!" I first heard that in 'Halloween' - now I know it's actually from Plan 9! :D

  • I think Darwin wants his model skeleton back.

  • this movie is so awesome :3

  • ...trashterpiece?

  • 3:25 best part!

  • i keep forgetting, what does the gasoline represent? he didn't lay it out very clearly.

  • what do you make of that?

  • "All we know is that he's dead... murdered... and somebody's responsible."

  • Comment removed

  • @dfbhcf

    plan 9.

  • They skipped two of my favorites: "It's tough to find something when you don't know what you're looking for," and "Then they attacked a town, a small town I'll admit, but never the less a town of people, people who died."

  • @ArticulateDesign Freaking hilarious!

  • That was the most epic and inspirational closing comment ever!

  • Best worst movie ever.

  • *dramatic pause* "What do you make of that?" LOL

  • I just figured it out. Tommy Wiseau is the reincarnation of Ed Wood. He has returned to us!

  • "future events such as these will affect you in the future"

  • I love this movie for it's brilliant ridiculousness.AND SOMEBODY IS RESPONSIBLE!

  • bueno

  • 3:19 - 3:25 Oh my god....you're the greatest actor ever...I think we all have been touched by this movie....thank you.

  • Criswell,,,,,the guy was just a legend!

  • 3:30 the dude's theory about gasoline / exploding universe is genius! stephen hawking just got pwned

  • This piece of crap is priceless.

  • Life hasn't begun for 22 people

  • 3.11, I'm sure this guy was my science teacher.

  • The earth`s people, who can think, are so frightened by those who cannot, the dead.

I actually like this line a lot...

  • The guy at 0:50 is about to blow his own head off.

  • 2:45 "What do you make of that?" Genius!

  • Ed Wood failed his way to success. Not many have done that.

  • 0:54

    YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • This has to be The Worst Movie - Ever. Which makes it so great. When the alien is describing "your Earth" in his little talk about everything exploding and he flicks his wrist just so - Liberace couldn't have been more gay!!!

  • "Styupid, STYUPID!"

  • a saucer shaped like a cigar! omg run!

  • You may not know but, Bella Lugosi died in the middle of this movie, so after he died his character always covers his face..... BTW I love how the Detective handles his gun. LOL

  • watching this makes me feel smart

  • I just got done watching this film, it wasn't that bad. I actually kind of liked it. There were a lot of interesting ideas, but that whole bit about gasoline and the sun and what not was just flat out ridiculous, though who knows shit like that could happen. lol

  • That made me dumber. Time to take a break and smoke a flying saucer.

  • 2:30 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Quick. get me a globe, a pint of gas, and a sun lamp

  • Stupid, Stupid, Stupid hahahaha

  • I feel dumber now.

  • this film is the tits

  • One thing's sure; Inspector Clay is dead, murdered, and somebody's responsible!

  • @Pingoo AH man! Gotta love it!

  • Man... I hate it when my electo-gun is jamed.

  • one of my greatest memories so far was with this movie..

  • My personal favorite resurrection movie. Happy Easter! :-)

  • ed wood did this in 6 days so this is good because usaly people have 1 or 2 years worth of working when he only did this movie in 6 days so FUCK OFF!1

  • @oblivion66gamer dude in less than an hour i can take a shit that would have more potential than this film...

  • plan 9=3.7/10 in imdb

    bieber movie=1.2/10

    plan 9 WINS!

  • 2:38 "He's dead Jim"

  • Check DRACULA Full Movie on ANTONPICTURES channel. Thank You. George Anton

  • its so bad its... GREAT!!!

  • "You will never know it...because they will be from outer space" LOL!!!

  • This was the first "so bad it's good" movie I ever watched and now I'm hooked :D. Some people think it's the worst film ever but the unintentional cheesyness makes it a definitely awesome film :D. Like this if you heard of Plan 9 through the X-Files :D.

  • The woman at 1:38 sounds like Shane Dawson.

  • "This is the most fantastic story I've ever heard."

"And every word of it is true too"

"That's the fantastic part of it."

    Genius joke.

  • 10 Worst Disasters: 1) Plan 9 From Outer Space 2) RMS Titanic sinking 3) Hindenburg Disaster 4) Twin Towers collapsing 5) Slavery 6) The Holocaust 7) The Great Depression 8) Gulf Oil Spill 9) Earthquake in Haiti 10) Hurricane Katrina Order is important here, people.
  • I don't think our stupid, STUPID, minds can comprehend the genius of Ed Wood.

  • @Linkster2o I bet James Nguyen can. (guy who made Birdemic)

  • HAHA "It's murder... and someone's responsible!"

Also hilarious is how the police officer has no concept of gun safety and continually points at everyone and even scratches himself with it.... Ah, good movie.

  • still better than twilight.

  • @anubhavdasgupta2312 What isn't?

  • When I found this on DVD for a fiver I almost fainted!

  • @Mauroleiicus Seriously? I found it at Poundland for, well, a pound, obviously :P. It was in the "horror classic" section during halloween. Thats also where I found Killer Shrews, The Thing from Another World, The Brain that Wouldn't Die (which would be a really good Steampunk film or comic) and Attack of the Crab Monsters :D.

  • subscribe to RETARDS WITH RAYGUNS horror doo wop

  • This really is a one of a kind movie. One of the greats. People just don't realize it.

  • "I saw a flying saucer."

"Saucer? You mean from up there?"

No, he means the ones from the dandruff of his hair. What a hilariously inept line.

  • "You see? YOU SEE?! Your stupid minds! Stupid! STOOPUD!"

  • What do you make of that?

  • Oh thank god for the Destroy All Humans game, these people so need to die.

  • If anybody says that this is the worst movie ever made, they clearly haven't seen much movies in order to say. There are plenty worse that really do qualify as the worst movie ever made (i.e. Manos! The Hands of Fate, Child Bride).

  • @thatdoomguy666 Don't forget "Monster a Go-Go"

  • @Nelsonhojax15 Indeed. As far as I'm concerned, "Monster A Go Go" is the worst movie ever made, barely nudging out "This Stuff'll Kill Ya" and "2000 Maniacs" by Herschel Gordon Lewis! "Plan 9" almost looks like Raiders of the Lost Ark by comparison.

  • @galoon haha, glad to see someone who agrees. Plan 9 is bad, but at least its entertaining. If it weren't for MST3K there would be absolutely no impotice to see Monster A Go-Go. The film truly is the worst.

  • @Nelsonhojax15 Yep! The only entertaining part of Monster A Go Go was the guy imitating the phone ringing! Manos The Hands Of Fate was pretty awful, too--I don't see how those poor guys at MST3K made themselves sit through that movie seven times.

  • You missed out 'well I guess thats why you're a detective inspector and I'm just a uniform cop' (may not be exact...its been quite a while since I saw it last)

  • 22 people couldn't prove that it didn't happen. O.o

  • I can't wait for the Broadway musical version.

  • And remember my friends, future events such as these will affect YOU... in the future!

  • soo bad, but ... So bad that it is good again

  • "Inspector Clay is dead. Murdered. And SOMEBODY'S responsible."

    >**~ACE DETECTIVE~**<

  • Fucking genius. The best accidental comedy ever. EVER.

  • YOU SEE? YOU SEE? YOUR STUPID MINDS! STUPID STUPID!

  • AND SOMEBODY'S RESPONSIBLE

  • thought id catch up on my film history since there's another film upcoming that might challenge this films title of 'worst movie ever made'; justin biebers never say never film

  • It's still amazes me to see Lyle Talbot in Plan 9. He was Ozzie and Harriet's neighbor on their TV show.

  • The whole thing about sunlight being "gasoline" and the earth being a "ball saturated with the gasoline" was outrageous. I love this move. :)

  • @mattitude282 I dont even know what use a weapon that "explodes the universe" would be.

  • god i love ed woods pictures, this is my favorite movie of all time haha i love the cheesines of it

  • The funny thing is...today, this film would be a great comedy; c'mon "and somebody is responsible" that line almost killed me lol

  • What do you make of that?:

  • "...and somebody is responsible!" pissed myself :D

  • BEWARE OF THE BIG GREEN DRAGON THAT SITS ON YOUR DOOR STEP.....

  • "whaddya make of that?" haha, that killed me...

  • ‎"You do not need guns" "Maybe we think we do" "They would be of no use to you now" "They've been mighty useful before on flesh and blood, and you two look like you've got a lot of both" - Plan 9 from Outer Space

  • 1:11 OOOOOOOOOH! So that's what those are..... lol

  • no hay duda de q esta muerto... un homicidio... Y ALGUIEN ES RESPONSABLE!! xDDD

  • More movies you have to see if you like this: "Glen Or Glenda", "A*P*E*" (aka "Attack Of The Giant Horny Gorilla"), "Rock, Baby! Rock It!", "Bride Of The Monster", "Santa Claus Conquers The Martians", "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living And Became Mixed-Up Zombies", "The Killer Shrews", "The Fire Monster", or any Mexican Luchador film starring either Mil Mascaras or El Santo (even more so if it has them both together).

  • this movie is like a constipated turtle, slow, painful, and funny as hell.

  • 22 people are stupid minds. stupid! stupid!

  • Does anyone know who owns the rights to this picture, I'd like to maybe do a re-make. For serious.

  • @RealityDefenseLeague Go ahead. It's in the public domain.

  • @CeruleanFilms Is it really? Were did you get your information? Thank you

  • @CeruleanFilms Is it? I know Bride of the Monster is in the public domain, but is the whole Kelton Trilogy in the public domain?

  • @Dude0Vinni0Dude I'm not sure what you mean by the Kelton Trilogy, but "Plan 9" and "Glen or Glenda" are both public domain. Both were produced independently by people who disowned the projects pretty much instantly... plus the fact that Weiss and Reynolds have both been dead for a very long time.

  • @CeruleanFilms Just wanted to mention.... the "Kelton Trilogy" that Dude0Vinni0Dude talked about is a nickname for the trio of Ed Wood flicks in which Kelton the cop (Paul Marco) played a part. Those flicks were "Bride of the Monster", "Night of the Ghouls" and "Plan 9 from Outer Space".

  • @CeruleanFilms There is a remake being made. A serious one. The remake being produced by Darkstone Entertainment is being written and directed by John Johnson. The teaser trailer was released on the movie's official website on September 9, 2009. Horror host Mr. Lobo and Internet celebrities Matt Sloan, Aaron Yonda, James Rolfe, Shawn C Phillips, Monique Dupree and Ryan Higa have been slated to perform in the movie.

  • @ExplodingPenguinStdo and another might be the same but has the angry video game nerd starting as a police officer

  • @CeruleanFilms Oh sweet, really? Time to get working on that Broadway musical, then...

  • @RealityDefenseLeague its already being remade, but since its public domain theres no reason why u can do one too

  • @RealityDefenseLeague Now THAT is a great idea. Can i please be a part of it

  • @scaredmonkey Well, I'll wait to see this remake some Company is supposedly making. I'll see if it lives up to my expectations. If not, I'll do her.

  • @RealityDefenseLeague plan9movie(dot)com seems you where a bit late

  • @RealityDefenseLeague it's currently in production, titled "grave robbers from outer space" :)

  • @RealityDefenseLeague -Reynolds Pictures, Inc. owns the copyrights. Good luck though :))

  • @ingareinar007 Reynolds Pictures was one guy (a local pastor) who has been dead for many decades. It's in the public domain.

  • @CeruleanFilms Oh, I see. But according to IMDb it is, but I guess you are right. I love the film in many ways though. It has style. In a way, it is the closest a film can be to an old comic strip :)

  • @RealityDefenseLeague I think Wade Williams still owns the rights to this one. Plan 9 has been re-made for theater as a musical, believe it or not!

  • Solarnite, absolutely genius. "God help us in the future" ..indeed.

  • this all makes some sort of illogically-spoken logical sense on a weird level

  • 0:56 to 1:24 is actually pretty deep, man.

  • Future events such as these will effect us in the future? NO! :O

  • "God help us all......in the future"

  • somebody's responsible

  • Stupid! STEWPIDD!

  • You see! the ppl that filmmed this are stupid minds! stupid STUPID!!!

  • how can an electric gun be jammed?

And im surprised you didn't put the line with the "Electro-sguiggly"

  • 1:37 "the saucers are there, and the cemetery is out there -but I'll be locked up in there"

    -Most messed up line ever

  • @MightySaturn5 Hahaha I have no clue what she's trying to say in that line

  • @DecapitatedDoctor yeah, I mean she has this eager to please look on her face like she'd be down
