I do not believe this video means that the trainer and horse have a stronger bond than any other rider and his horse. It only means that this horse learned to do a great deal of tricks. I am not undermining all the work at all; just have some difficulty dealing with the view of a horse performing unnatural acts.

viele turnierreiter schaffen diese übungen nich tmal so gut und schön aber versuchen dabei es zu verbessern indem sie dem pferd im maul rumzuzerren und es mit dem kopf auf die brust zu nageln.so ist das doch viel schöner. ich bin überwältigt von der schönheit und eleganz.diese beiden vetrauen sich wirklich zu 100%

ich würde das alles so gerne lernen...

und ich hoffe, dass viel mehr menschen einsehen, dass es auch anders geht

Szczególnie 1:20, tak zwany skok posłuszeństwa, czy też jak kto woli zaufania, (tutaj chyba bardziej pasuje zaufania), żeby to skoczyć trzeba poświęcić naprawdę wiele czasu, żeby zbudować tak silną więź (szczególnie, że 2:22, koń wykonuje skok bez jeźdźca, każdy 'normalny' koń by to ominął) .

@MissImpossiible Honza Blaha baut m.E. auf dem Parelli-System auf bzw. modifiziert das n bisschen. Wenn dir n Kurs bei dem Meister himself zu teuer ist, beginn doch erstmal parelli-mäßig mit den sieben Spielen, die sind auch hier auf youtube zu finden, hol dir das Buch von Parelli und pass das ganze an die speziellen Bedürfnisse und Talente von deinem Pferd und dir an. Honza Blaha gibt Kurse in Deutschland, glaub ich, aber die sind sehr teuer und die Basics kann man sich gut selbst beibringen.

AMAZING If anyone says that working with horses/riding horses isn't a sport, i will shoot them!! I mean, just look at the body language that is being used to tell the horse what to do and how well the horse responds. The understanding between horse and rider in this video must have taken three things: WORK WORK WORK (well more than that but whatever)

Gaston's early days with Honza: Gaston is Honza's first horse, training him since 1997. In January 2002 they both toured the USA for 2 years performing in Parelli's "Succes with Horses Tour". It was at one of these tour stops that we saw them together, and the story Honza told about this horse's previously dangerous behavior ....compared to the relationship we saw & you see here....amazing!!! Tears were everywhere in the audience. Is there really any other way for us humans to be with horses?

How do you begin to teach your horse to side pass towards you?

@Sandhillsgirl9 You can teach him by having him move in hand. I am guessing he had an assistant behind and on the off hand of the horse cropping his rear as he moved his forhand toward him at first. Cropping in the gentlest sense, the horse looks like he is taught to yeild ot a gentle tap of the crop. Most advanced moves require more than one person at first, according to descriptions in training published by classical trainers.
