Actually, mate, your counting sounds quite accurate to me. Add that to your baritono, slow-paced voice and put some of your outlawish (rugged, long-haired, strong-foreheaded lad) look into the mix and hey, you got me convinced :D!

The strong yet not overpowering "r" is spot on (strong pronounciation, as opposed to the silent "r" in English). The "o"s are a bit long but they're ok, you sound a tad Transsylvanian :). "Nouă" might need a slightly deeper "u" but it's all there.

Dude, the way you say Ciao sounds Italian. Romanians say Ceau. And you are right, the way you pronounce "r" sounds Slavic, like in Russian, or Anglo-Saxon. The Latin people prononounce the letter "r" softly
