All throughout the election I kept hearing from people and 24 hour news that the election was close. It wasn't! At all! I had done a lot of reading during that time and the conclusion that I came to was that Hillary couldn't win. All of the top pollsters, including Nate Silver predicted that there was little to no chance that she could win. The decision by the DNC to split the delegates were also predicted. He wasn't on the ballot in Michigan, how could they award her all of the delegates?
The guy in the white shirt is realizing something that many men do not get. To the men out there: imagine growing up in a country where men could not even vote until the 1920s, and there had never been a man president. I am sure that Obama will make a good president and I will vote for him. But to have a qualified female candidate come so close and then to have that hope dashed is a cause for sadness. Ms. Mills is legitimately expressing publically the feeling of loss that many share.
It may be "ridiculousness" to you, but what you now say is not what you said in the video-
"...I really didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the speech, because it FELT LIKE a lot of the same stuff I always hear."
How is it you "feel" something from a speech to which you're not listening? See, that's ridiculous to me. News reports today are full of commentary that her speech was quite unique and very different, and not at all as was commonly expected.

Yeah, but were you at the Hispanic Caucus meeting on Monday where she spoke? A lot of it was the same, but a lot of it couldn't hear.
