People say Clapton is not a great technical player...but his solos are like epic movies. It slowly builds up and than at 7:57 he just crushes it right where it needed to be crushed. You can't teach that in a class or read it off of sheet music.

But what is a bending style or a vibrato, that everybody recognizes at once? The "perfect" tone?
