@TheNickyNoel Yes each book is one contract that way it protects the publisher if you have a series and the first book doesn't do well they don't have to publish the entire series. Make sense? Sometimes however they will ask for a first option on your second book meaning that they have first right to the second book but they really have to believe the book for that to happen =]

I just went to your website and clicked on the "Books" section and OH MY GOSH!!!! You have written FOURTEEN FULL-LENGTH NOVELS?!?!??! I am SOOO jealous right now! And you're only like...17! Wow. You said something about distribution and thats why you rejected the $1000. Sorry, I don't understand what that means. Could you explain it to me?

Well when you get a publishing deal, distribution is really important. It basically means where they can get your book into (like Barnes & Nobles, Books a million, Amazon etc) and the lady who wanted to give me the $1,000 didn't have any distribuation so I would have been selling the books basically myself and no one would ever been able to get it at a store or online. Does that make sense?

Thanks so much! Thanks for taking the time to write me. Ugh I'm not done my book yet but when I'm done I'm going to re-watch your videos and follow what you said. I live in Canada so I wonder if it's the same here. Do you know if I can publish it in the States instead of Canada if I wanted to? Lastly I wanted to say that the proposal looks brutal.

Yeah you can publish in the states just send your query letter to American agents/publishes also since you're in Canada you might not be able to find my book in a bookstore but you can always find it on Amazon just search "The Guys The Roses & The Regrets"
