Or the fact that they all have modern equipment (Under Armor logos, style of jersey, modern chin straps) when it's supposed to be 1988?

Experienced something similar to this my last season in high school we lost the regional finals by 2 after we drove about 45 yards and were stopped at the goal line. Its the worst feeling in the world knowing how close we were. I look back now and I cant be more proud of the team I was apart of.

I remember a game so close my senior season, we had to win 1 more game to make playoffs for the first time in almost 10 years. we were winning 14-13 , the other team drove the ball down our field and with about 1 minute left they made a field goal, as soon as i got up from that play and heard the other teams sideline roaring; i burst into tears. ill never forget that game, i know that feeling.

I hated all the things I heard about some of my teammates thinking it's the coaches fault when it was mostly the team, now are whole town is a joke b/c some of are players.
