Nice shooting, have you shot the .17 rem fireball?. I used one on a coyote at 150 yrds with a front shot to the chest. Dumped him where he stood. I was looking to silence my fireball, remington M700 SPS. Any thoughts on what surpressor would fit a M700. I'm from the united states.
berger /lapua /sierra /primerz fedral gold medal /small /large /powder vit 133 varget benchmark h335 h380 .reloder 7 /precriptions ay /goin try 30 berger in my 222 /we will se .
the 17 remington can destroy meat if the wrong projectile is used it can be loaded with bullets to 30grs and at speeds up to 4000+fps it can anchor a fox in excess of 300yds in fact it really is an excellent foxing round, but as i said already to get the best from the cartridge you really should reload soooo much fun to shoot!!!!!!!! always
is there much meat damage from those bullets? i'm using a 17hmr at the moment and i find that it destroys a lot of meat if i use it inside 125 yards. luckily the little cz is accurate enough for headshots
Excellent!!!!!!!!been using the 17 remington for many years and can not rate it highly enough, fast banjo string trajectory very low ricochet potential but you must reload to get the best from it but its sure worth the effort brilliant!!!!!
17 rem one of the best fox rifles around

17 Rem is ok as long as you keep them clean I found after 12 shots or more they start to go off. 222 much better.

Yes - LOTS of damage if hit in the body.
As you said they are accurate enough for head shots up to 300 yards in the right conditions.
Thanks for your comments

Hi - Yes I reload for all my rifles - and the 17 rem certainly performs best with home loads.
