SketchUp: Keeping an eye out for inferences

These videos are great. I am a BEGINNER at 3D and am so glad I found sketchup and your insturctional videos. I hope to be able to someday use the program to make models for work (I'm a paralegal and would love to be able to make 3D renderings for trial). I have ordered your book and can't wait for it to come in. Just wanted to say thanks for making this program so easy to use and understand. I would recommend your teaching aids to anyone!

I see it can get a little tricky! Still easier than other 3-D apps though.

I've played around with other modeling programs like Hexagon and Modo, but they are impossibly complex and hard to use. I'm really impressed with how easy this seems. Thanks! Guess I'll have to take a crowbar to my walllet and spring for the program and your book. :)

You can get a version of sketch up for free if you want to try it out before getting to in depth or what not. Also, unless you have some major project I am pretty sure the basic will work for you anyways :)
