Jack is in great shape and that's great to see and hear. THis video underscores, though, that there are only 3 people who can get together to do these songs. And there's only 1 of them there.
@beachhutblues Wow you're so right :) I recently discovered Joe, he's pretty good, finally someone new whose amazing, but Clapton is still one of my main influences
Joe really did a nice take the "Clapton" solo, it was very Joe but yet Claptonish at the same time. Cool, was i hearing a horn section? I could have don without the horns. Horn players blow.
Joe is no Eric, but then, he doesn't need to be! He is the first guitarist since Eric to play with (as opposed to against) Jack! Gary couldn't, neither could Rory or any of the others he's tried. A really good pairing. (And I am a huge Eric fan, BtW)
Clapton was always my favourite, particularly with Cream & his 2004 tour. Then I heard & saw Bonamassa. He's just in another league musically & has a humility & audience rapport which Clapton never had. Just amazing.........
40 years is telling a toll on Jack's voice but even-so its good to hear Joe and Jack playing some of Cream's music, as a teenager it was Cream that unfenced my music tastes. Oh found memeries....

Very cool... Joe Bonamassa has finally impressed me. And close my eyes.. damn, Jack is as good, if not better, than he ever was! 43 years later.. wow!!
Great video as always, Pete and a reminder of a wonderful night. Good to hear this played with a decent amount of wah-wah, unlike EC nowadays. What a fantastic guitarist Joe is. Thanks for doing this for us all. P
that horn section sucks and is obnoxious and they over play and are not needed...

I think Jack is as awesome as ever ! And having JB make you sound even better doesn't hurt, either. Joe is an amazing talent.

Wow - what a great version! Joe Bonamassa sounds remotely like Eric Clapton, Eric Johnson, and some others blended together into his own style.

heres only 1 thing missing here. "Joe T the Englishbluesman".
hes the one that should be playing with jack bruce here.
dont get me wrong,joe b.is a great player,but no comparison to Joe T.
Joe T,is the most authentic and creative english sounding guitar player in the world today.
to prove my point,go to Joe t's youtube site.
its simply called, englishbluesman ;
im sure you'll agree
