  • that horn section sucks and is obnoxious and they over play and are not needed...

  • Jack is in great shape and that's great to see and hear. THis video underscores, though, that there are only 3 people who can get together to do these songs. And there's only 1 of them there.

  • You can't deny the awesomeness of Sir Bruce, however, I prefer JB and GH!!!!

  • I love JB. But he's playing too clean here.

  • @beachhutblues Wow you're so right :) I recently discovered Joe, he's pretty good, finally someone new whose amazing, but Clapton is still one of my main influences

  • JB makes 1 thing absolute clear: white room solos sound best on a gibson ! :)

  • I wish I had known of this gig. Saw JB last night in Hammersmith and he was in tremndous form.

  • absolutely a brilliant lead

  • theres something different about ginger baker in this video, hmm...cant put my finger on it, put on some weight perhaps...? hehe :)

  • Joe really did a nice take the "Clapton" solo, it was very Joe but yet Claptonish at the same time. Cool, was i hearing a horn section? I could have don without the horns. Horn players blow.

  • I love the way Joe went out of his way to make his solo sound like Eric

  • Joe started the solo a little early sounds like.

  • I'ts so wonderful.....

  • Joe is no Eric, but then, he doesn't need to be! He is the first guitarist since Eric to play with (as opposed to against) Jack! Gary couldn't, neither could Rory or any of the others he's tried. A really good pairing. (And I am a huge Eric fan, BtW)

  • @vazon69

Clapton was always my favourite, particularly with Cream & his 2004 tour. Then I heard & saw Bonamassa. He's just in another league musically & has a humility & audience rapport which Clapton never had. Just amazing.........

  • is this video available? I mean, published?

  • NICE!!!

  • I think Jack is as awesome as ever ! And having JB make you sound even better doesn't hurt, either. Joe is an amazing talent.

  • Wow - what a great version! Joe Bonamassa sounds remotely like Eric Clapton, Eric Johnson, and some others blended together into his own style.

  • grande jack!

  • holy joe...haha

  • Please God....let them play together forever and please send them to Sweden as soon as possible :)

  • @f7d7n8s8 And then, send them to Poland too :)

  • 40 years is telling a toll on Jack's voice but even-so its good to hear Joe and Jack playing some of Cream's music, as a teenager it was Cream that unfenced my music tastes. Oh found memeries....

  • steve jordan on drums, cant really go wrong with that line up

  • Joe´s guitar work is just perfect, he and Warren Haynes are the best players of our time.

  • Jack can still sing and is still a bad ass bass player. and Joe has been touched by Clapton.

  • Jack can still sing and is still a bad ass bass player.

  • Bravo!!!

  • Fantastic!

  • Awesome, thanks for uploading. Looks like it was a great night!!

  • By the far the best video capture of this historic moment! Thanks for sharing it !!!!

  • Gotta Love Joe Bonamassa! So GOOD!

  • NOT BAD!

  • I do miss Ginger Baker's primordial feel tho'....

  • Very cool... Joe Bonamassa has finally impressed me. And close my eyes.. damn, Jack is as good, if not better, than he ever was! 43 years later.. wow!!

  • He's living all his child hood dreams.

  • Another great video Pete. What a thrill. Jack really looks so happy, good times!

  • @tgbrown4 ...roll on the 29th of October Graham!!!..woo hoo indeed!

  • @omegalast800

  • Great stuff pete, what a night !!!

  • Great video as always, Pete and a reminder of a wonderful night. Good to hear this played with a decent amount of wah-wah, unlike EC nowadays. What a fantastic guitarist Joe is. Thanks for doing this for us all. P

  • Epic indeed! I bet Joe was on cloud 9. Looks like a great gig. Thanks for sharing with those of us who couldn't be there.....you're a legend x

  • Thank you so much for the upload! Go Joe!

  • Joe Bonamassa is so great ~ the best living blues guitar player I've seen.

  • good version, but ...i miss gary so much

  • That will do just fine for openers.

  • That was quick... :-)
