hey yuppymoney. i am single, 20, still in college, and am very confused about what kind of health insurance to get. should i be in a HMO plan, or PPO.... ahhhh, help!
it really comes down to how often you go to the doctor, if you have any health issues, if you are trying to keep costs down, what kind of a hospital experience you like - it's not an easy choice, but i would decide what's most important to you in your health insurance / health services before taking the plunge into researching what plan to apply for.
Agreed! I was unemployed (and uninsured) over the summer and suddenly needed to go to the hospital. OMG the bills! Thousands and thousands of dollars...gone.
