Completely out of touch with everyone and the planet. Indefensible. From hero to zero in one long profit chasing corporate bullshit marketing driven soul less sell out. Be ashamed, be very ashamed. Hope you invest some of the bail out funds in Defenders for mountain rescue teams, where it might do some good.

The absolute worst vehicle made. Here is a little test if you are thinking of buying one. Venture to their service area and you will notice that every repair slot or garage is always full. Enough said. These vehicles are a disaster in Engine failure, transmission failure and the list goes on. There are plenty of master technicians who will state this. Save yourself the headache. Simply Google Land Rover issues as well if you are not convinced. Buyer beware!
That off road course did not look particularly challenging either... This revamp shows clearly the market direction LR continues to take... Perhaps in a time of recession they should concentrate on developing a range of utility vehicles, even under a different/new banner, to target military, utility and developing world markets rather than launching a more 'on-road', luxury focus...
The Discovery 4 has definately come off worst from this 'revamp'. Those new rear tailights are horrenous. Who on earth decided that those boy-racer 'Lexus style' lights would look good on a Land Rover?! Also the Range Rover front end they have grafted onto the Discovery looks cheap; like they drove the old model into the back of a Range Rover a bit too fast and it's burst out the other end.
do Not like the RR sport alloys, hopefully they aren't the standard, however, how can you know with all the poncey 'Kahn' immitations. Also, was loving the new Disco (very clean and retro) until those awful 'Audi'ish' side-lights came on.
Great cars, shame about the clientel. Precisely why I'll stick with my Series.
where is the defender thay are load of shit

Ummm So what? A toyota corolla could do any of the things there (altho the traction control up hat hill looked OK)
Search for land rover discovery and see what the older models are capable of, then ask whether any of these could do that. Really gone soft, a pity.
PS, Tata are a great company and actualy might be really good for LR, as long as they dont blow it financially

These vehicles constantly suprise me...how many of the super expensive, luxury "4x4"s would do this?
I can't name any other than these 3 land rovers.

It looks like someone decided to make the current range look cheap. Range Rover looked good when the L322 came out, but now they ruined it.
They suck! I'm sticking with my Series III.

For those of you who can't quite afford a 2010, the 2009s are $20,000 off sticker right now, and then make your offer.
