@bahraintamil Hi It was not lip-synced (part lipsync), but the music tracks are played from the original track as it always happens in ARR concerts and the other instruments are layered over. I cant see anyone playing the steel guitar arpeggios as they are unique. You can appreciate by listening to the original track before listening the this live song.

@pimezon You are way wrong on that one..when a final mix is cut the vocals are usually mixed in with the mids(EQ) and if you do try to extract just the vocals you loose quite a LOT of the music (lows and highs freq) or if you try to create a karaoke track then you loose all of the mids section..The only reason why it looks like its lip-synced is cos when you perform life there is an audio lag in the sound feeding to the monitor and the speakers and since its a big ass arena there will be a LAG !
@bahraintamil: I am not gonna get into the lipsync or otherwise issue, but it is possible to extract the vocal track separately from original song, and mute it to whatever length you want. so yea, in this age, it is more easy than you think to lipsync - you are uninformed and naive if you think otherwise.

Most probably they are lipsynching becoz ti sounds very very similar to the original studio recording (That is one usual indication of lipsynching) But what many people dont know is the fact that most artists lipsynch on stage. Even Michael Jackson does that. He compensates it with many visual effects including his great dancing. Artists do that becoz they are not at their best vocally all the time and dancing and running around the stage can make you breathless and sound really bad.

What a wonderful packed instrument section. A R Rahman is a genius for not arranging all the instrument parts only in his synthesizer.Instead He arranged all instruments(Acoustic, percussions, Strings etc) individually and lively to perform.. that is the sign of a great musician and his pain to arrange and order them all.
hariharen is a best singer and ar rahman is a best music director if they get together im sure they will make a brilliant song,and tis is such kind of song.
Hariharan does not need to lip sync, he used to sing 6 hours a day, and years of experience. I fell in love with this song after watching the concert version on dvd. And what made it really good was the start which this numbskull excuse of a youtuber left out,I think this vid and audio is a little out of sync bad uploading again. Furthermore I sat 3 rows to the front in vip seats when i saw him live at a rahman concert lol he does not lip sync, silly kids!
