D's loss is a perfect example of why people lose due to incompetence of the voting jurors (in this case, the American public, who as I've seen from the past 2 days of this latest season of Idol is obviously ignorant of some objective qualifiers identifying good musicianship: e.g. control, effortlessness, intonation). If Cooke's voice wasn't so processed with limiters, compressors, autotuners ... all of his songs would sound like a horny cat spewing his nuts out by way of his tonsils. Good job D!
david's dad is one of the sweetest fathers i have ever met and unlike a lot of people he actually talks to his kids fans and is really humble about it. :]
Wow. I couldn't really hear him in the start, but it was AMAZING! When he said 'Crazaay' My heart litrelly MELTED! His dad seemed pretty proud of his son. I like his dad. Not meaning to sound creepy, but they make a really cool father-son-kinda couple. :). Even his mom. Wow, the ideal family! :D.
His voice is so pure. I can't believe he could pull it off like that although he didn't practice much. When the song is cleared by Gnarls Barkley for idol, singers will sing David's version. His pure voice generates sadness. BTW, Jeff is a great guy. Everyone who has met him says how great he is.
i think he is a great dad, and he supports his son, but he doesnt tell David what to do. he lets David make his own choices, and what the media was saying about him was false...even David has said his dad is a great guy, and the rumors were stupid cuz he is 17, and would be able to stand up for himself.
Not really, his dad sounds really nice, I didn't know he sounded like that, like, all laid back and all. He seems like he will always be there to help David, and thats good. Everyone who met/talked to his dad said that he was a real neat kinda person. So, yeah. That whole thing was just a rumour the media came up with to make him look bad. =O. I know :( \but whatever/ I sure would like to meet Archie's dad...
idk i'm not hatin but his dad does seem like he would be a stage dad but i dont think he yells at david cuz david never broke down on stage and usually people who are abused do normally break down and also david seems pretty calm all of the time so yea, btw i mean stage dad as in he would probably be all arguing with the producers or something.
I hadn't heard him singing this, so thanks. As usual David can sing anything and make it sound great without any effort too it seems.
