  • Yes, you're right, this is a slightly slower version...my personal preference is for the slightly (but not excessively) faster versions he did, but of course they are all fantastic! Awesome final 8 bars...and especially that trademark ending 3 or 4 beats!

  • Is it just me..i think the tempo is not steady. No click track?

  • @TheDice2008 yeah, kinda looks like tempo got quickier just after solo, right?

  • Hat and poncho looked sooo appropriate... the man really was a guitar slinger.

  • Saw him everytime he was within driving distance. Got to see him play a duet with his brother on a doubleneck guitar from the second row. I will never forget it.

  • buen tema

  • i hate when people didlike something if ya dont wanna hear the song then why the fuck do you click on it really assholes lol

  • Back in the 80s we all new that Stevie was Great ...but Low did we know that he would soon be taken from us! I never got to see him play and I sorley regret that fact! The Best of the Best ! Tone King ! SRV !

  • Texas Blues at its best!!!!

  • He makes that guitar roar!

  • I bet the two guys who disliked this are burning at the stake...

  • @GuitarFretMan

Those two guys are fucking each other up the ass

  • @GuitarFretMan Anyone got gasoline????? For the fire!!!!!!!!!! Ha Ha!!!!

  • Those unrivaled ending notes (4:07 - 4:11) were always Stevie's favorites.

SRV --- the best there was or will ever be. Thanks for all the love, friendship, and music you past our way; RIP my brother, your legend and your incomparable music lives on.

  • All hail the king of tone, Man!

  • Simply x-cellent. He had a gift for making his work seem effortless. Great track. Even better musician !

  • good song from a gentleman who had a HUGE amount of talent. Rest in Peace.

  • Why don't I see clips like this anymore on TV? I didn't even know such clips with Mr.Vaughan existed.

  • Stevie Ray Vaughan is one of those artist I like to listen to live a lot better as to the recorded version. (There's performers where it is the other way round but usually the problem is that they are not really that good when it comes to doing the real thing)

  • jesus we need more music liike this...... just makes me want to get up and start swangin around.........

  • who are the 2 dumbfucks that dislike this....?

  • THE ONLY SONG I REALY LIKE HE DID I DO WISH HE WAS STILL AROUND GOD REST SRV YOU ARE MISSED

  • Good bass line, indeed

  • Goosebumps! the greatest ever!!!!

  • 1:18 - I hope I score chicks like that when I'm that age!

  • An American original. In an era of vidiots and posers, Stevie Ray Vaughan was the real thing. I wore a black arm band for months after he died in tribute. I never get tired of hearing him play this song.

  • I can't help but think what might've been. He was so amazing. Who could even imagine what he might've written if he'd lived. We'll never get to hear the masterpieces that would've been.

    Rest in peace, sweet prince.

  • I love Stevie, I love Texas, but Stevie does not play for Jesus sorry.... Nobody actually knows where you go when you die Fact for all we know SRV could be sitting next to me at the bar right now. and I hope he is because I just put couldn't stand the weather on the jukebox!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THE BEST AXE MAN THERE WAS

  • no way its a toss up between him and jeff healey

  • This is John "Marty" Trautman, co-founder of "The Chevrons". Back in the late fifties & early sixties we were blessed to have a guitar legend on the vast majority of our recordings. His name is Mickey "Guitar" Baker of "Mickey & Sylvia" fame. I believe Mickey is still alive & has been living in France for some 40 years. With all due respect to Mickey who became a dear friend of ours, SRV is the greatest "musician" that God ever created! SRV was beyond "majestic". What a joy! INCREDIBLE!

  • SRV doesn't get any better than this

  • awsome song by srv an double trouble one of my all time favorites

  • one of my fav's by him!!! amazing.

  • My uncle was so lucky when he went to a SRV concert. They got Stevie Ray Vaughn to sigh the front of his girlfriend's T-shirt. My uncle was so psyched to get the shirt that he knew he had to give it to the Hardrock Cafe. However, they said they were going to display it in whichever branch they wanted, and he wanted it to be in the New Orleans branch; so he kept the shirt in his attic. Then Katrina came and took the shirt in a flood.

SRV will continue to rock on with the angles. RIP Stevie.

  • is anyone better than stevie ray vaughan????????????

  • Great tune..."Help me!"

  • BLISTERING lead by SRV...hypnotic drumming.....snotty keyboards....thundering bass and SRV's unmistakable smoke-filled voice. A musical orgasm.

  • it blows my mind whenever i hear it !!!

  • AMAZING

  • i dont think stevie ray vaughan was real. as in i dont think he was a human.....

  • that is one tasty lick

  • Fucknig great song

  • caught in the crossfire!

  • My fav. God I love it.

  • GUITAR GOD OH YA

  • how is there so little views for this vid???????

  • Da Man. Still one of my favorite SRV songs.

  • TheBen, your mom's a bad song.

  • Shutup. Stevie ray is one of the best, and this is song is amazing. Plus, he wrote this song because his dad died on August 26 a year before this song was made and Stevie started drinking and doing drugs so he was sent to rehab, and when he got out he wrote this song to show how he was caught in an "emotional crossfire."

  • his band wrote it it even says on the record but I agre with ya

  • the ben... you blow ugly guys...

  • simply god.... if GOD EXISTS....THIS IS A PROVE

  • this is one of those great bars songs to drink something strong and hard to.

  • @xax172 He's also one of the best singer ever. PERIOD!! He has such an amazing and unique voice

  • very nice song!
