  • Your GFX card is HD4670 or HD4670 IceQ?

Secondly, can play all the games at max settings with 1024x768 resolution on Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 ~ 2.53GHz, 2GB 800MHZ DDR2 and HD 4670 IceQ 1gb???

  • i have 4670 too :)

  • it might be ur processor...it spretty crappy and the clock speed is pretty low mines 3.2GHz

  • nice vid dude, I have a amd 4200+ 2.2ghz @ 3.0ghz, 4gb g.skill ddr2-800, and a asus ati 4670 512mb card. I play on my 23in acer moni 1920x1080, I only play cod4 not a bad card for being less then $100 I get 81fps in game no AA

  • @unokilo321 4200+ 2.2ghz @ 3.0ghz so ur a crazy OC?:) hey i hv an Intel 2duo @2,2/ is it safe to oc it around 2,6/2,8 ? i hv a coolmaster fan(around 50E)

  • i'd say your best bet is to bump it up slowly, I went from 2.2ghz, and brought it up by .1 every time, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5 and so on, it finally failed to boot to windows at 3.2 so I lowered it back down to 3.0, and i'd suggest getting core temp, every time you bump it up a little run core temp and play some games, after about 10 minutes close the game and check your temps, my temps don't go above 50c after a couple hours of playing cod4, they are usually about 30c idle.

  • @unokilo321 mine it fails at 2.9/ so a 2,6 it will b good cuz i dont have problems with temps.:)

  • nice, yeah it'll be fine. my friend bought a phenom 9950 and oc'd it to 3.3ghz and I got the same cpu and it failed at 3.1 so I had to keep it at 3.0, some cpu's don't oc as well as others, I was kinda bummed that it didn't go further but it's just the cpu that I recieved. glad to hear you are stable at 2.6ghz, it should be fine.

  • What software are you using to overclock? i cant find any decent overclocking utility for my athlonx4 620

  • hey man, I haven't ever used any software, I oc through bios. is your cpu 2.6ghz? and is it the black edition? if you go into bios you might be able to up the mutliplier by one every time and see if it's stable. when you go into bios check what your settings are at, I think amd default is 200mhz frequency and multi for 2.6ghz is like x13, if it's black edition you could set it to 15 and you'd be set to 3.0ghz. that's the settings I used for my phenom 9950.

  • Yeah mine isn't a black edition, But theres quite a lot of processors that arn't black edition and can still overclock via software.

  • I know, I never said it couldn't be over clocked through software, I just said i've never used it. have you tried AMD overdrive? thats the only software I could think of right now used for overclocking.

  • Well i wont be trying it just yet. My PSU is a 230w and i dont know if it'll run the HD4670. If it does then i'll consider overclocking. Thanks for your help ;)

  • when I had my phenom 9950 oc'd to 3.0ghz I had my v core set to 1.325, black editions are nice cause you can just up the multiplier by one each time until it doens't boot to windows, if it isn't a black edition and the core frequency is 200 and multi is 13 you can up the core frequency by two or use a calculater to figure out how high you want to over clock for example x13 multiplier and 220mhz cpu frequenct will give you a 2.86ghz oc'd and 232mhz freq is 3.01ghz oc'd

  • another thing you should do before trying to OC your cpu, if you don't know how to already, you should search it up on google, and here on youtube, on your cpu oc'd get the specs the users set in bios to get a stable oc. I have no experience with intel chips so I couldn't tell you in detail how to do it, other then watching your temps while finding a stable oc. I'll be building a new pc in the next couple months I might go intel, see how it goes. yeah let me know how it turned out for you :)

  • Mine runs smooth at 3341mhz

    267x12.5 on the bios settings

    auto voltage @ cpu

    very good processor imo.

  • pretty cool. I'm going to be getting my 4670 in the mail by Wednesday.
