Has a haunting mix, I heard it on the ABC in Australia, it hit home the first time I heard it..my grand mother was one of the few people in scotland keeping the language alive, she was a proud woman....but my father would not teach it to me, I have gone out of my way to learn it to pass it on to the next generation.... allabhuch albunnch...aye
that's what's fantastic about gaelic music these days. some of it is far more contemporary and has a much broader appeal. this wouldn't sound out of place in a bar in glasgow or edinburgh and that's just fantastic for the language.
