What I don't like about this scene is how Sam acts. He literally just stomped on one of Dean's favourite memories, all because Sam is focused on what was wrong with their family. You'd think that after everything, Sam would have learned that there is no such thing as perfect, and everyone and everything has dark moments.

that's the thing that sucked for the both of em in the episode the way they watched the other one experience the other one's best memories w/o them being in it. But with respect, Mary was a total MILF ^^ she seemed like a nice enough woman WHAT WERE U THINKING JOHN?! xD

I thought Dean was being a jerk in this episode =/ When they came to Sam's memories, Dean got mad and hurried them along because they weren't good memories for himself; he couldn't understand why Sam thought they were happy. But he made Sam watch as their mother served him lunch and completely ignored Sam... :(

@lookitsmon That's not a fair comparison though. Their mom is dead, and Dean just wanted a moment with her before they left. And he was mad in Sammy's memories because Sam's heaven was him being happy with other families and leaving his family behind. To Dean, family is everything (see his first happy memory, which was him and Sam playing as kids), so it's totally understandable why he was acting this way in this episode.

@lookitsmon dude.. are you even serious?! he just wanted to have a moment with his mom.. it isn't about sam. The only jerk in this episode was Sam, all his memories where of HIM being happy,he was selfish and his memories were HIS happy moments .. and those didn't include dean.. his only brother.... that's why dean got mad at him... Dean's first memory was making Sammy happy . So I think you'd see the whole problem before calling jerk Dean for wanting to spend some time with his mom.

Oh I know! I wanted to give Dean a hug through the whole episode. What really gets me though is the look in Dean's eyes when Sam brings up Dean cleaning up their dad's messes. As sad as this being one of Dean's favourite memories is; that's legitimately how Dean see's it and Sam just kind of crumpled it up and spit on it.

As Sam said he doesn't look at family the same way and so he can't see the good of that memory because he's too focused on everything that's wrong in it.
