It's cool that rappers like Asher Roth give the nerdy, suburban white kids some credibility when it comes to rap music. But these rappers alot of times get placed under nerdcore or alternative rap, basically anything but hip hop. We all know white people can rap, even if most of them choose to play into the white stereotype and make a gimmick out of it (which I got a problem with that). But not too many white emcees get credit for contributing to the hip hop culture.
