In all honesty, you can call me what you will. But now that I've turned 18, I'm constantly praying that I'm not enlisted into the military. I've heard many stories of the horrors that Iraq, and I'm just not at the point that I could possibly desire to wish to be enlisted in the military. I love this nation, and there's almost nothing I wouldn't do for her, but I cannot possibly stomach the possibility of going to Iraq, just to die.

It was a war for profit, however if we are ever attacked by any nation it is our duty to defend our country. In self-defense only. i believe the iraq war was to enrich defense contractors; iraq had nothing to do with 911. whether or not conditions have improved since we totally @#$%ed it up is irrelevant. people in iraq live in raw sewage thanks to our good intentions. stay in school and all that, but find other sources, too. i sometimes feel like the real education began after college graduation, when i started actually started to care enough to poke beneath the surface. like with watergate, you gotta follow the money.

How can we blame Clinton on the mishaps (there were many) that happened that day from the administration, and the 8 years of reaction afterwards? Bush had warnings, according to C. Rice and R. Clarke. Yet every part of goverment intelligence failed that day, right down to the 4 airport's security procedures. Not to mention a breakdown in communication between government agencies. Funny how people can see things so different. I'm tired of having a stupid president. Obama graduated at the top of his Harvard Class and taught contitutional law at the University level. If the constitution were actually followed, we would be a lot better off. I don't believe McCain has read the constitution. Bush certainly hasn't. And just one more thing. Being a veteran myself, I know that it was difficult to be a POW, but that doesn't give you an automatic pass to the White House. This man walked around an Iraq market using a 150 American soldiers as human shields simply for a "photo op". Maybe he wouldn't have done that ten years ago, but that WAS ten years ago.
