@rockbutt123 I did not find it , it was already known about before the E3 team bought this out its the same with any method of downgrading you cant go beyond the fireware that your console came with , but if u downgrade to 3.55 OFW u can then downgrade to like 2.15 OFW , tell u what I will post a link to a PUP file that does a firmware check it will tell u what u can downgrade to after u get to 3.55 it will still tell u even if ur on 3.70 .

I'm guessing you would go to the 3.70 to download any patches and install them, then switch it back to the 3.55 if your copy is running off the PS3 hard drive.

Some bad news to anyone who wants to downgrade yor console has to be one that came with 3.55 stock or lower or it wont work it will brick because the newer consoles contain the METLDR 2 witch will block any downgrade, sony thinking ahead im afraid :-(

@Micoooog Not true.THIS flasher will be able to downgrade any slim until cech 2504b 1a because the factory FW was 3.50 but sony upgraded to 3.56 before selling it.So,if you PS3 came with 3.56(date code 1a or lower),don't be afraid it'll work.If it came with 3.60/3.61 and the datecode is 1b,1c or 1d sorry...METLDR 2 comes with the consoles that have factory fw 3.60+ and have the datecode 1b,1c,1d.
