My wife wanted one of these.Took her to all the BMW, Mercedes,and Porsche dealers in town and she still wanted to go by Mazda.I hate Japanese cars,but I still got it for her.It's is an odd bunch now,a 2008 Lamborghini Galardo,a BMW M3 coupe(back up for the Lambo),and now a Mazda 6.Now I'm not complaining,it was cheap as hell,and my wifes happy,so I'm good.As long as the BMW and the Lambo get to stay in the garage,I'm good cause it's a two car garage,she's pissed about it,naturally.

This car does not deliver. The fuel economy is crap out of its 2.5. The Honda 2.4 vtec is much better in the city, not to mention Volkswagen passats 2.5L 5cyl and 2.0t family sedan. Odd front grill, as well...way too...animated? Good thing for that 6th gear or it would be worse than the pick up I drive at work for city driving.

Just got a 09 Clssic 6 Hatch - demo and after 40 years of driving can say this is one of if not the best. Only thing I don't like is the odd tyre size 215/50 bloody expensive to replace here in Oz and oh yes an annoying white light on the speedo needle at 80 kph next to the black hub in the middle anyone else got this?

north american i guess. i live in canada and i have the 2004 mazda 6 and it has the storage compartment on the top of the dash. but my parents have the 2009 mazda 6 and im not sure if it has it or not.

Just test drove this car this past weekend. I immediately wanted to trade in my Toyota Camry for a Mazda 6. It actually carves the twisty roads so much quicker and more precise than I could say about my Camry. A very nice and smooth ride with lots of power in the V6.

Just raced someone with this car tonight, I was in my 09 Camry V6 and he was in this. at start, both are tires screamed like a mother in labor. but as we hit like 3rd gear i smoked him.

I dunno really it was dark and i didn't get a good look, but the driver had 3 other passengers in the car so that could have significantly caused a lack of performance. But seeing how he took off it had to have been the V6.
