At 7:40 he is exactly right. I fly for a living. Once you get above about 5,000' or so the cell reception starts to go bad. Even public cell technology today doesn't allow for that, let alone in 2001.

Cell phones can and have worked from flights, especially at low altitudes. What's scripted and what's real is just you hearing it how you want to hear it. I've been on planes.. I'm wondering how these people had SERVICE way up in the air.. NOONE I know has ever had service when all the way up in the air.
@NnyJthm - They are no longer common on planes but were extremely common at the time and were fitted to those planes. You could just slide your credit card through them and use them. For some reason they have taken them out. Perhaps they annoy other costumers or some such reason. But I used them 100 times. Cell phones can and have worked from flights, especially at low altitudes. What's scripted and what's real is just you hearing it how you want to hear it. People react in unusual ways during traumatic events. The whispering "you did great" is also interpretation of line noise, no different from listening to music backwards and hearing messages. @NnyJthm - They are no longer common on planes but were extremely common at the time and were fitted to those planes. You could just slide your credit card through them and use them. For some reason they have taken them out. Perhaps they annoy other costumers or some such reason. But I used them 100 times. Having said that though I have not traveled much in the U.S. since 9/11 as my wife is Asian and we decided to stop visiting due tot he racism.

The plane being shot down is true. My friend's brother is a state trooper in PA & he was there at the site waiting for the plane. They had snipers on the ground, he was one of them. He called my friend, his sister, & told her they shot down the plane. The snipers were set in place while military planes were sent out to shoot it down. Also I have a friend who was working in the pentagon at the time it was hit & he told me that the PA plane was shot down & it was a missile that hit the pentagon.

Fabricated phone call. Flight 93 was shot down, we all see that. But they found this lady's identification in perfect condition.. WHY? because her story had to add up. This phone call and her identification was already planted and fabricated well before 9/11

Morons... Yes cell phones work from planes and they did in 2001 but they also had phones for passengers on planes in 2001... Use them for a fee... The phones were right there in the back of the headrest in front of you as you sat in the planes... How did they know? They were hearing it on the phones from family and co-workers on the ground!!! No hang up, no disconnect noise or notification. It just fades into someone else talking and saying “God bless America”. HOW CHEESY IS THAT? If anything it PROVES that I am correct. I am not denying there was a fire. I am saying fire did not put those buildings into their own basements. My heart weeps for you.
